So alive, you opened unknown worlds to me,
within my gut, asleep between instinct and reason.
In a single person you have put all my breath,
all my tears shed from joy and madness,
my perpetual desire,
the fiery explosion of my senses,
the irresistible, enchanting language,
the tactile memory.
Electricity pulses through each hair;
my nerves are irrigated with anxious blood.
If you graze my knees or just pass by me,
your eyes, flashing like hummingbirds,
tear down the resistance
from the ceilings of reason
to the cages of education.
You have even disarmed sin.
As we kicked in the door,
we tore off our clothes,
and rolled into each other,
our bellies kissing,
drunk with the scent of skin.
Our naked dance
seductive,
feeling.
No dream can startle us anymore
if the sheets embrace us,
if, facing daybreak through a filtered light,
our backs lightly touch.
I will miss you
as soon as you descend the stairs
your feet taking you down your own path.
I’ll burn with desire waiting for your return.
Whichever body our passion wore that day
it was nestled inside of you.
No matter whose body wears love each day
it manifests in those who love each other.

di percepire il colore di tutto ciò che la circonda.
"Mi sono autodefinita un'attivista poetica perché mi piace usare la poesia per far riflettere le persone, per animare i sentimenti, tradurre in parole ciò che vedo con i miei occhi, o come mezzo di denuncia.
L'elemento della Natura, nelle sue colorate manifestazioni, con i suoi odori, si mescola all'umano in quanto essenza primordiale, forza generatrice e rigeneratrice. Si presenta spesso nei miei versi perché ho radici che affondano completamente negli elementi naturali. Io sono figlia del mare, della valle, della montagna. Da bambina ascoltavo la voce degli alberi e del vento. Questa è la mia essenza.
La forza motrice che mi permette di organizzare incontri di reading con il pubblico, e che mi manda avanti come artista, è data dalle persone stesse che comprano i libri, che mi raccontano le proprie storie di vita e condividono con me le emozioni.
